Walks

There are wonderful walks from the cottage following quiet lanes or the footpaths through the woods and fields, many of which are free from livestock. Most of the trails and walking routes locally are also great for dogs.

Swimming

High tide is the perfect time for a swim in the river, with easy access from the jetty just below the cottage. 

There are dog friendly beaches throughout Devon and Cornwall, but many do have restrictions from Easter to October.

Eating Out

The majority of country pubs in the area welcome dogs, although it's best to check ahead before you make plans to avoid disappointment.
